My twenty-one years in print and digital media span a wide range of roles: writing coach, creative consultant, ghostwriter, copywriter, developmental editor, and copy editor. I collaborate with authors of all skill levels to help them develop compelling, publishable manuscripts; I work with marketing, PR, and branding agencies to help develop content that reflects their desired voice; and I ghostwrite memoirs and prescriptive nonfiction books for clients who choose to hire a professional to share their story.
Since I founded my editorial services business in 2011, I have worked on more than six hundred fiction and nonfiction books. I have also collaborated with a variety of corporate clients to polish their branding and marketing content. Formerly, I was the managing editor of Juxtapoz art magazine and editor of the women’s lifestyle website DivineCaroline.com, and a writer and editor for numerous other publications.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English from Harvard University and completed UC Berkeley’s Professional Sequence in Editing. I live in San Francisco.
